Cookie and Privacy Policy

KLS PurePrint A/S (KLS) processes personal data and has therefore adopted this Privacy Policy which describes in brief how we process your personal data to ensure fair and transparent processing. It is a consistent feature of all our data processing that we only process data for specific purposes and based on legitimate interests. We only process personal data that is relevant and necessary to meet the specified purposes, and we erase your data when it is no longer needed.

Cookies
In order to develop and improve our websites and measure traffic on them, we automatically collect statistical information in anonymised form about how our website is used. Part of this data is collected via the use of cookies. A cookie is a small text file saved on your computer, mobile or similar device in order to follow your visit and recognise your device when you visit our website again in the future. A cookie is not a program and does not contain any viruses or distribute any harmful software.

We use Google Analytics and Leadfeeder for web statistics. Google Analytics and Leadfeeder provide us with anonymised statistical information about the users of the website. Google Analytics and Leadfeeder process IP addresses and data from cookies so we know how many times our site has been viewed, the number of visitors, the browsers the users use and the country or region in which they are located.

Sometimes we embed image and video content from websites like YouTube. You may therefore be presented with cookies from these sites when you visit a page with embedded content. Personal data
Personal data is any type of information that, to a greater or lesser degree, can be attributed to you. When you use our website, we (or Google Analytics or Leadfeeder) collect and process a number of such items of information. This occurs e.g. when you click on any of the website’s content, if you subscribe to our newsletter, make purchases via the website or generally make use of our services.

Our website typically collects and processes the following types of data: a unique ID and technical data about your computer, tablet or mobile phone, your IP number, geographical location and the pages you click on.

To the extent you yourself give express consent to do so, the following is also processed: name, place of work, position, telephone number, e-mail, address and date of sign-up, plus any payment details. This will typically be in connection with signing up for a newsletter or making a purchases.

Normally we obtain the data directly from you, but in some cases we also receive data from our business partners, e.g. if your consent to their marketing terms may result in registration for our newsletter.

Purpose
The data is used as part of the company’s activities to identify you, register your purchases and payment and to be able to provide the services you have requested, such as e.g. sending a newsletter. Furthermore, we use the data to optimise our services and content.

We do not disclose personal data to firms for marketing purposes.

Storage period
The data is stored for the period permitted by law, and we erase it once it is no longer necessary. The period depends on the nature of the data and the reasons for storage. It is therefore not possible to specify a general timeframe for when the information is erased.

Disclosure of data
Data about your use of our website, geographical location, gender and age segment etc. is disclosed to third parties if this information is known. The third parties in question are mentioned in the section on “Cookies” above. The data is used to optimise our services, content and for targeted advertising, if we use the latter.

We also use Mailchimp to store and process data in connection with distribution of our newsletter. Mailchimp only processes data on our behalf and may not use it for their own purposes. Personal data will only be disclosed if you give your consent to registration for the KLS newsletter.

We only use processors in the EU or countries that can provide adequate protection for your data.

Access and complaints
You have a right to be informed about which personal data we process about you. In addition, you may at any time object to the use of data. You may also at any time withdraw your consent to data being processed about you. If the data processed about you is incorrect, you have a right to rectification or erasure of the data. Any enquiry in this respect should be directed to kls@kls.dk. If you wish to complain about our processing of your personal data, you also have the option of contacting the Danish Data Protection Agency.

Review of the Privacy Policy
We reserve the right to make changes to this Privacy Policy from time to time. When changes are made, the date at the top of the Privacy Policy will be changed.

The Privacy Policy valid at the time in question will be available on our website.
